Advanced-level federal contracting requires more than familiarity with the rules—it demands the ability to interpret complex acquisition requirements, evaluate procurement decisions, manage contractual risk, and apply governing regulations and case law to real-world business situations.
For experienced contractors, acquisition professionals, and business leaders ready to move beyond the fundamentals, our advanced learning programs address the challenges that influence competition, contract awards, performance, and compliance.
Participants examine complex procurement scenarios involving the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency supplements, source selection, bid protests, contract administration, and the legal principles governing federal acquisition decisions.
Our advanced workshops emphasize analysis, application, and defensible decision-making. Through practitioner-led instruction, procurement case studies, and federal acquisition case law, participants develop the ability to recognize contractual risks, assess agency actions, interpret solicitation requirements, and make informed strategic decisions. The objective is not simply to understand what the regulations say, but to determine how they apply, why they matter, and how they affect a contractor’s rights, responsibilities, and business position.
At the advanced level, knowledge is the foundation. Application is the differentiator.

Our specialized federal contracting workshops are designed to close the knowledge gap between identifying an opportunity and understanding how to compete, perform, and succeed within the federal acquisition system.
Our curriculum addresses the distinct procurement requirements, regulatory frameworks, and contract administration challenges associated with federal construction, architecture and engineering (A/E), information technology (IT), shipbuilding and ship repair, research and development (R&D), medical and healthcare services, and other specialized acquisition sectors.
Each workshop is structured to address the rules, procedures, and practical considerations that govern its respective contracting environment, helping participants develop industry-specific knowledge beyond general federal contracting fundamentals.
Through practitioner-led instruction, applicable FAR and agency supplement analysis, real-world procurement scenarios, and relevant federal acquisition case law, participants examine how acquisition requirements are interpreted and applied within their respective industries.
Our approach emphasizes the connection between regulatory compliance, solicitation requirements, contract performance, and the legal principles that influence procurement decisions. Whether entering a specialized federal market or expanding an established contracting operation, participants gain a stronger foundation for evaluating opportunities, recognizing contractual risks, and making informed business decisions.
We do not simply teach businesses where to find opportunities; we focus on understanding the acquisition rules that govern them and applying those rules in practice.

Participants go beyond theory to examine the legal reasoning, procurement facts, and governing principles behind decisions that directly affect contractors.
Through structured case studies, guided legal analysis, and practical procurement scenarios, participants learn to evaluate agency actions, interpret solicitation requirements, identify potential grounds for protest, and understand the legal principles affecting contract awards and administration. The program emphasizes the disciplined application of procurement law and case precedent to real-world contracting situations, strengthening the participant’s ability to assess risk and make informed business decisions.
