FY2027 Advocacy, Issues & Policy Priorities
Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce (FCCOC®)
As we enter FY2027, the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce (FCCOC®) remains committed to advancing policies and procurement practices that strengthen the competitiveness, operational readiness, and long-term success of the federal contracting business community.
Federal contractors operate in an environment shaped by evolving acquisition policies, regulatory requirements, workforce challenges, rising operating costs, and increasing demands for performance and accountability. These conditions require thoughtful advocacy, informed policy engagement, and practical solutions that support both the federal mission and the businesses responsible for executing it.
Throughout FY2027, FCCOC® will focus on identifying critical industry issues, advancing constructive policy dialogue, and promoting greater transparency, consistency, and predictability in federal procurement. Our priorities will include acquisition and regulatory reform, small business competitiveness, contract performance and compliance, workforce development, and equitable access to federal contracting opportunities.
Our approach is grounded in a fundamental principle: a stronger federal contracting industry begins with informed contractors, sound procurement policy, and a government–industry relationship built on accountability and mutual understanding.
FCCOC® will continue to serve as an independent voice for the federal contracting business community—bringing forward industry concerns, encouraging meaningful engagement with government and policy stakeholders, and promoting education as a foundation for informed advocacy.
As we look ahead, our objective is not simply to identify challenges, but to advance practical, forward-looking solutions that strengthen the federal acquisition environment, support contractor readiness, and contribute to the effective execution of the federal mission.
FY2027 is an opportunity to move from identifying industry challenges to advancing meaningful solutions. FCCOC® looks forward to working with federal contractors, government stakeholders, and industry leaders to advance policies and practices that promote a more competitive, capable, and sustainable federal contracting community.
