FCCoC “Speaking with Confidence” is a program designed to help you build confidence in researching, presenting, and articulating your knowledge of federal contracting topics. The goal is for participants to be comfortable engaging in conversations with federal officials about various procurement opportunities, even in high-pressure situations.

In the basic sessions, participants focus on presenting and representing their organization during the early stages of the federal contracting process, leading up to the award. Participants will have the opportunity to identify procurement  challenges, issues and concerns, as well as enhance their ability to clearly articulate their position and define their organization’s related capabilities.

• Practice both planned speeches and unplanned responses
• Give and receive meaningful feedback
• Step into leadership opportunities

In the advanced sessions, participants will research assigned procurement case law and present their findings publicly using the IRAC method. IRAC stands for "Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion" –a structured approach to legal analysis.

In the mastery-level sessions, participants may be required to present their findings before a board, speak to a group, or create detailed presentations that complement their case law research.
