The FCCoC Internship Program: Building the Next Generation of Federal Contracting Leaders
The Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce (FCCoC) is proud to launch its Internship Program—an exclusive opportunity designed to immerse students and early-career professionals in the real-world dynamics of federal contracting. Unlike traditional internships that often provide only surface-level exposure, the FCCoC program equips interns with hands-on knowledge, mentorship, and practical experience rooted in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the realities of the federal marketplace.
As an FCCoC intern, participants gain direct access to industry experts, training workshops, and live federal contracting projects that prepare them to confidently navigate procurement processes, compliance standards, and business development strategies. The program emphasizes not just learning, but mastering the craft of federal contracting—helping interns build the skills employers are seeking in today’s competitive contracting environment.
Interns also play a critical role in supporting FCCoC’s mission. From contributing to advocacy initiatives and policy research to assisting with business development resources and member engagement, interns will make a measurable impact while developing leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. This unique experience bridges the gap between classroom knowledge and the contracting world—ensuring that FCCoC interns are prepared to lead, innovate, and succeed.
AVAILABLE INTERNSHIPS INCLUDE:
The Chamber seeks interns throughout the year. Chamber internships are normally unpaid, however Chamber Edu Credits, as well as divisional awards and monetary bonuses are shared.
Law School Interns that provide caselaw briefings are paid per briefings as well as earning college credits.
Please direct all internship inquiries, including a cover letter and resume, to Joey Grismore @ jgfederalcontracorschamberofcommerce.com.
