FCCoC Specialty Contracting

The FCCoC Specialty Contracting program is a focused professional development track within the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce designed to provide advanced instruction in niche and high-impact areas of federal procurement. This program addresses specialized subject matter that extends beyond foundational contracting concepts, targeting complex regulatory requirements, unique acquisition strategies, and specialized contract types. Its purpose is to equip practitioners with the deep technical knowledge and procedural insight necessary to excel in challenging segments of the federal marketplace.

Instruction within FCCoC Specialty Contracting is delivered by subject matter experts with extensive experience in specific acquisition domains. These may include complex service procurements, information technology and cybersecurity contracting, construction and facilities management acquisitions, GSA schedule and multiple-award contracts, cost-reimbursement and incentive contract types, as well as socio-economic programs such as HUBZone, 8(a), and SDVOSB. Workshops and modules emphasize practical application, interpretation of regulatory frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance best practices relevant to each specialty area.

The program also fosters a community of professionals with shared interests in advanced procurement disciplines. Through cohort engagement, expert panels, case study analysis, and scenario-based exercises, participants gain both substantive expertise and professional insight that support competitive advantage and superior performance. FCCoC Specialty Contracting is designed to help federal contractors, government advisors, and legal professionals deepen their capabilities to navigate complex acquisitions with precision and confidence.
