ABOUT THE FCCoC DEFENSE COUNCIL
The FCCoC Defense Council serves as a strategic leadership and engagement body within the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce. The Defense Council is designed to move beyond networking. It is a platform for leadership, collaboration, education, advocacy, capability development, and action.
The Defense Council advances five strategic outcomes:
READINESS
Helping contractors develop the knowledge, systems, workforce, and capabilities required to perform successfully in the federal marketplace.
CAPABILITY
Strengthening the technical, operational, managerial, and organizational capabilities of the industrial base.

The Facility Hosting Committee of the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting the Chamber’s mission by securing and coordinating exceptional venues for meetings, events, and training sessions. We aim to create accessible, professional, and inclusive environments that foster collaboration, learning, and growth for our members and partners, ensuring the success of all Chamber-hosted activities.
Responsibilities:
- Venue Selection: Identify and secure appropriate facilities for Chamber events, ensuring they meet logistical, accessibility, and capacity requirements.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with venue representatives, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless event setup and execution.
- Resource Management: Manage the allocation of equipment, seating, and technology (e.g., audio-visual systems) needed for events.
- Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
- Member Engagement: Collaborate with Chamber members and stakeholders to maximize the utilization of member-provided venues and resources.
- Budget Oversight: Work within allocated budgets to secure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
