AMBASSADORS & EMISSARIES

Powered by the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce

In federal contracting, access alone is not enough. Connections without strategy don’t convert. And visibility without execution doesn’t win. That’s why FCCoC established the Ambassador & Emissary Program—a dual-force network of business professionals operating at the intersection of community, contracting, and commerce.

FCCoC Ambassadors — The External Growth Engine

Chamber Ambassadors are individuals who help represent and promote the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce, as well as promote their own business to other companies.

The Ambassador Program consists of enthusiastic volunteers from the Chamber membership who donate their time to help build member commitment and raise community awareness of Chamber activities and benefits. Ambassadors are frontline representatives of FCCoC, deployed across industries and communities to:

  • Build strategic business relationships
  • Represent FCCoC at high-value events and engagements
  • Introduce companies to federal contracting pathways
  • Drive membership and training enrollments

They don’t just attend networking events— They convert conversations into capability, and capability into opportunity.

What Are the Benefits to the Ambassador’s Company?

Ambassadors grow personally and professionally by building business relationships within the community. Participating in the Ambassador Program is one of the first steps you can take to become more involved with the Chamber. The program is ideal if you have a desire to become more active in the local business environment, raise awareness of your business or organization and give back to your community.

The Ambassador Program provides opportunities for you to connect with local business leaders and build lasting relationships. You will have an insider’s perspective of the local business community, and a high level of prestige and credibility is extended to your business or occupation through your involvement with this well-respected goodwill group.

FCCoC Emissaries — The Internal Strength Engine

Chamber Emissaries are chosen individuals who act as messengers to advocate on behalf of the Chamber to current members. Emissaries are assigned (or can choose) a minimum of 25 member companies (10–15 should be new members) to which they act as a liaison for the Chamber. Companies should be chosen based on an opportunity to do business in the future. We want the member company to fall within the Emissaries natural scope of work (no hard sales) so that it is easy to place them in their natural contact rotation.

This program is an effort to increase membership value and retention rates. For the Emissary, it is a chance to build business relationships (again, no hard sales). Those chosen must show a strong sense of commitment and dependability by being outstanding Chamber members and are extended an invitation by the Chamber leadership, Membership division and/or the Guidance Committee, to become part of the Emissary Program.

Our Emissaries operate inside the FCCoC ecosystem as trusted relationship managers and member advocates, responsible for:

  • Strengthening member engagement and retention
  • Supporting new member integration
  • Expanding business connections within the network
  • Ensuring members extract real value from their affiliation

They don’t just maintain relationships—They activate them.

One Mission. Two Forces. One Outcome.

Together, Ambassadors and Emissaries create a closed-loop system of growth:

  • Ambassadors bring businesses in
  • Emissaries keep them engaged and growing

This integrated model ensures that FCCoC is not just building a network—
it is building a performance-driven contracting ecosystem.

Bottom Line

This is not a title. This is not a passive affiliation. This is a business development platform, a relationship command structure, and a revenue-driving network—designed to move companies from interest to impact in federal contracting.

FCCoC Ambassadors & Emissaries - Engage the Market. Strengthening the Network. Deliver the Outcome.

*** Ambassador & Emissary Program— is only to FCCOC Members

The Ambassador & Emissary Program is a volunteer-based role during the first year. Beginning in Year 3 and beyond, participants become eligible for performance-based compensation tied to measurable contributions and results.
