The FCCoC® Defense Council brings together federal contractors, defense industry executives, acquisition professionals, policy experts, military and veteran stakeholders, educators, technology leaders, and strategic partners committed to strengthening America's Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and advancing the readiness, capability, and competitiveness of the federal contracting community.

The Council is supported by experienced professionals with expertise across the federal contracting, defense, acquisition, technology, workforce, policy, and business-development ecosystem. Their collective experience, relationships, and operational knowledge provide the foundation for informed leadership, strategic collaboration, and mission-focused action.

The Defense Council organizes its work through specialized councils, committees, working groups, and targeted initiatives focused on critical areas of the federal contracting and defense ecosystem. Each council brings together professionals with relevant expertise, established relationships, and a shared commitment to building capability, preparing industry, expanding opportunity, and supporting the mission.

ABOUT THE FCCoC® DEFENSE COUNCIL

The FCCoC® Defense Council serves as a strategic leadership and engagement body within the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce.  Our purpose is to help position industry to understand the mission, anticipate requirements, build capability, compete effectively, and deliver results.

Through focused councils and working groups, the Defense Council creates structured opportunities for leadership development, policy engagement, education, professional development, capability development, collaboration, business development, and strategic action.

The Council provides a forum where industry leaders and stakeholders can exchange knowledge, identify emerging requirements, develop relationships, address challenges, and pursue opportunities that strengthen the broader federal contracting ecosystem.
