FCCoC® MEMBERSHIP BUSINESS PROGRAMS
Building Businesses. Connecting Opportunity. Strengthening the Business Community.
Introduction
FCCoC® membership is designed to provide businesses and organizations with more than access to events. Our membership model is built around a fundamental principle: businesses need knowledge, relationships, resources, visibility, and readiness to successfully pursue opportunities.
Through education, business development, procurement knowledge, professional programming, networking, and strategic engagement, FCCoC® creates a platform where businesses can strengthen their capabilities, establish meaningful relationships, and position themselves for sustainable growth.
To accomplish this, FCCoC® offers two distinct membership pathways: Business Membership and Chamber Partnership. The two pathways are intentionally different. Business Membership is designed to help an organization build and grow its business. Chamber Partnership is designed for organizations that want to invest in, influence, and help strengthen the broader business community.
FCCoC® BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP
Build Your Business. Expand Your Network. Access Opportunity.
FCCoC® Business Membership is the foundation of the FCCoC® business community. It is designed for emerging businesses, established companies, government contractors, prospective contractors, professional service providers, and organizations seeking to expand their knowledge, relationships, visibility, and market opportunities.
Business Membership provides an organization with an opportunity to become an active participant in the FCCoC® business community while accessing programs and resources designed around practical business needs.
The emphasis is on business readiness and business development.
FCCoC® helps Business Members understand the marketplace, strengthen their business foundation, develop professional relationships, and better prepare to identify and pursue opportunities.
Business Membership Focus
Business Members have access to programming addressing federal contracting, procurement, business development, professional education, networking, workforce development, and industry engagement.
Programs may include federal procurement education, FAR fundamentals, NAICS and size-standard education, contractor readiness, solicitation analysis, proposal development, business development workshops, capability development, market research, professional training, executive education, and industry briefings.
Business Members also receive opportunities to increase their visibility through their FCCoC® membership profile, directory presence, member recognition, business showcases, networking programs, and other appropriate promotional opportunities.
The objective is not simply to provide information. It is to help businesses understand how to use information to make better business decisions.
The Business Member Experience
The Business Member journey can be summarized as:
BUILD → LEARN → CONNECT → PREPARE → COMPETE → GROW
Business Members build their capabilities, learn how markets and procurement systems operate, connect with potential partners and business relationships, prepare for opportunities, compete more effectively, and pursue sustainable growth.
FCCoC® CHAMBER PARTNERSHIP
Lead. Invest. Influence. Shape.
FCCoC® Chamber Partnership represents a deeper level of engagement with the organization and the business community.
A Chamber Partner is not simply an organization purchasing a higher level of membership. It is an organization choosing to become a strategic participant in the FCCoC® ecosystem.
Chamber Partnership is designed for established companies, prime contractors, corporations, professional service organizations, financial institutions, technology companies, industry leaders, and other organizations that recognize the importance of strengthening the business environment in which companies operate.
The Chamber Partner relationship extends beyond individual business development. It creates opportunities for organizations to participate in leadership, advocacy, strategic relationships, education, workforce development, and initiatives that support the broader business community.
Chamber Partnership Focus
Chamber Partners receive enhanced opportunities for executive engagement, strategic networking, government and public-policy participation, leadership programming, business development, and elevated organizational visibility.
Depending upon the program, Chamber Partners may participate in executive briefings, leadership receptions, strategic roundtables, government affairs initiatives, legislative engagements, procurement discussions, industry forums, workforce initiatives, and other FCCoC® leadership activities.
Chamber Partners may also have opportunities to support FCCoC® programming through sponsorship, subject-matter expertise, facilities, speakers, workforce resources, or other strategic contributions.
The objective is to create a relationship in which the Partner can say:
“We are not only participating in the business community—we are helping strengthen it.”
THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN MEMBERSHIP AND PARTNERSHIP
The distinction between the two programs is intentional.
A Business Member primarily engages FCCoC® to strengthen its own organization through knowledge, resources, relationships, education, visibility, and business-development opportunities.
A Chamber Partner engages FCCoC® at a broader strategic level, seeking not only to advance its own organization but also to contribute to initiatives that strengthen businesses, contractors, workforce development, procurement education, advocacy, and the broader business ecosystem.
THE FCCoC® MEMBERSHIP PATHWAY
FCCoC® membership is designed to grow with the organization.
A business may initially join because it needs education, resources, relationships, or greater market visibility. As the organization becomes more established and more deeply engaged with FCCoC®, it may determine that its interests extend beyond individual business development. That organization can transition into a Chamber Partner relationship and participate at a more strategic level.
TWO PROGRAMS. ONE BUSINESS MISSION.
The two programs serve different purposes, but they operate within the same FCCoC® mission.
BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP
Build Your Business. Expand Your Network. Access Opportunity.
Business Members gain the knowledge, resources, relationships, and readiness necessary to strengthen their organizations and pursue opportunities.
CHAMBER PARTNERSHIP
Lead. Invest. Influence. Shape.
Chamber Partners take a more active role in supporting business development, education, workforce initiatives, advocacy, procurement engagement, leadership, and the overall growth of the business community.
Together, the two programs create a continuum of engagement:
BUILDING BUSINESSES → CONNECTING OPPORTUNITY → STRENGTHENING THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY
THE FCCoC® MEMBERSHIP PROMISE
FCCoC® is committed to creating membership value that extends beyond a directory listing or event calendar.
Our goal is to create an environment where organizations can learn, connect, develop, compete, lead, and grow.
For the Business Member, that means having access to the tools and relationships necessary to become a stronger and more viable business.
For the Chamber Partner, it means having the opportunity to help shape the programs, relationships, and initiatives that make the broader business community stronger.
