FCCoC AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

The Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce (FCCoC) is expanding its membership structure to include a new class of Affiliate Members—organizations whose expertise, services, workforce, education, or institutional resources support the federal contracting community. Affiliate Membership is designed to bring the broader federal acquisition ecosystem together under one professional network, creating opportunities for collaboration between contractors and the organizations that help them operate, compete, comply, and grow.

Eligible Affiliate Members include labor unions and trade unions; colleges and universities; community colleges; law firms; procurement and government-contracting attorneys; accounting and CPA firms; banks and financial institutions; insurance and bonding companies; commercial lenders; staffing and workforce-development organizations; engineering and architectural firms; technology and cybersecurity companies; consulting firms; professional associations; trade associations; economic-development organizations; chambers of commerce; business incubators and accelerators; SBDC and business-development organizations; veteran and military organizations; workforce-training providers; research institutions; laboratories; manufacturers; distributors; logistics companies; transportation providers; construction suppliers; real-estate and facilities organizations; and other professional or institutional organizations that serve or support federal contractors.

Affiliate Membership also creates a structured platform for organizations that want to educate, support, connect with, or provide services to federal contractors without being required to operate as federal contractors themselves. A university may provide a pipeline of talent; a law firm may provide procurement-law expertise; a labor organization may provide skilled workforce resources; a financial institution may support business growth and working capital; an accounting firm may assist with compliance and financial systems; and a technology company may provide solutions required to perform federal work. FCCoC brings these capabilities into the same network while maintaining its primary focus on the federal contracting community.

Through Affiliate Membership, FCCoC intends to create opportunities for professional networking, educational collaboration, workshops, speaking engagements, workforce development, industry events, referrals, strategic relationships, and contractor-support initiatives. Affiliate Members may also have opportunities to introduce their capabilities to FCCoC members, participate in appropriate FCCoC programs and events, and develop relationships with contractors seeking specialized expertise, services, talent, technology, financing, legal support, or other business resources.

The creation of FCCoC Affiliate Membership reflects a simple principle: federal contractors do not operate in isolation. Successful participation in the federal marketplace requires an ecosystem of legal, financial, educational, workforce, technical, professional, and industrial resources. FCCoC is building a network that recognizes that reality—connecting contractors with the organizations that help make federal contracting possible. Affiliate Membership is therefore not simply an additional membership category; it is an opportunity to become part of the broader FCCoC Federal Contracting Ecosystem™.
