If you are new to federal contracting and you're looking for a guide to walk you through the entry level knowledge of the federal contracting rules, processes, and procedures, then this is the course for you!
The foundation of this course is Sams.gov. This provides you with the necessary hand-held exposure and guidance you will need to better understand and respond to “every” document, comment and/ or request of any federal contracting agency. This course is not theory based; attendees will have the opportunity for questions, quizzes, and homework.
"Project walkthroughs allow members of the Contractor Team or Teaming Partners to navigate the contracting processes related to an active or mock federal requirement. For advance walkthrough sessions, clients respond in the same manner as they would be required by the agency, and their responses will be evaluated by our teams in accordance with the agency's requirements."
GAO issues decisions regarding federal bid protests, appropriations law, and other legal matters.
Federal agencies are required to award government contracts in accordance with numerous acquisition laws and regulations. If a party interested in a government contract believes that an agency has violated procurement law or regulation in a solicitation for goods or services, or in the award of a contract, it may file a bid protest with our office. GAO provides an inexpensive and expeditious forum for the resolution of bid protests.
