The Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce (FCCoC) is a national business chamber dedicated exclusively to the businesses, professionals, institutions, and organizations that participate in, support, and contribute to the United States federal contracting and federal acquisition marketplace.
FCCoC brings together federal contractors, subcontractors, prospective contractors, industry professionals, government-acquisition stakeholders, legal and financial professionals, educational institutions, and organizations supporting the federal contracting community to advance a stronger, more informed, capable, compliant, and competitive federal contracting environment.
Our work is centered on a simple principle: Federal contracting is governed by rules. The ability to understand and apply those rules is fundamental to competing, performing, protecting contractual rights, and building sustainable federal contracting businesses. FCCoC exists to help the federal contracting community understand those rules, engage the marketplace, address common business conditions, and participate more effectively in the federal acquisition system.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Federal Contractors Chamber of Commerce is to strengthen the federal contracting community by advancing its common economic and business interests through education, advocacy, industry representation, government-industry engagement, and access to the knowledge and resources necessary to compete, perform, and succeed in the federal marketplace.
FCCoC accomplishes this mission by bringing together industry, government, legal, academic, and professional stakeholders to:
OUR VISION
A FEDERAL CONTRACTING COMMUNITY THAT KNOWS THE RULES, UNDERSTANDS THE MARKETPLACE, AND HAS A VOICE IN THE SYSTEM.
FCCoC envisions a federal contracting community in which businesses are not merely introduced to federal contracting, but are equipped with the knowledge, professional judgment, and practical understanding necessary to operate within the federal acquisition environment.
We believe the long-term strength of the federal contracting marketplace depends upon contractors who understand not only how to pursue federal opportunities, but also the laws, regulations, procedures, contractual obligations, administrative processes, and legal authorities that govern the federal acquisition lifecycle.
WHAT WE DO
EDUCATE
FCCoC provides education and professional development addressing the federal acquisition lifecycle.
CONNECT
Federal contracting does not occur in isolation. FCCoC provides a national forum through which contractors and the professionals supporting them can establish meaningful relationships across the federal acquisition ecosystem.
ADVOCATE
FCCoC provides a forum for identifying and addressing business conditions affecting federal contractors. Through research, member input, industry dialogue, education, and lawful engagement with government and other stakeholders, FCCoC works to bring greater understanding to issues affecting the federal contracting community.
INFORM
Federal acquisition is continually evolving. Statutory changes, regulatory changes, executive actions, agency policies, acquisition strategies, court decisions, Government Accountability Office decisions, and changing government priorities can materially affect federal contractors.
CONVENE
FCCoC provides a national forum for government, industry, academia, and professional stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue concerning federal contracting and federal acquisition.
DEVELOP
The federal contracting marketplace requires more than access to opportunities.
It requires capable organizations and professionals who understand the environment in which those opportunities exist.
OUR NATIONAL COMMUNITY
FCCoC is designed as a national organization with a network of members, chapters, committees, councils, professional forums, educational programs, and strategic relationships.
CHAPTERS
FCCoC chapters provide a local and regional forum for federal contractors to connect with one another, engage with government and community stakeholders, and address federal contracting issues affecting their respective markets.
COMMITTEES AND COUNCILS
FCCoC committees and councils provide specialized forums through which members can examine specific acquisition, industry, regulatory, legal, technical, and business issues.
NATIONAL PROGRAMS
FCCoC's national programs provide education, research, forums, conferences, professional development, and other resources addressing issues affecting the federal contracting community.
MEMBERSHIP
FCCoC membership is designed around organizations and professionals participating in or supporting the federal contracting marketplace. Membership provides an opportunity to become part of a national community focused specifically on federal contracting.
GOVERNMENT–INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT
A healthy federal acquisition environment requires meaningful communication between government and industry. FCCoC provides forums through which federal contractors and government stakeholders can exchange information, perspectives, and professional experience concerning the federal acquisition environment.
